“The woman in the mural is Doña Margarita, a great-grandmother who lived in these apartments for 20 years. Three generations of his family live here. This piece talks about the passage of time and constant evolution, ever changing nature and life that has inhabited there, where these departments are located at some point was a jungle, and although the city of Cancun is barely 46 years old, Mayas inhabited the area thousands of years ago.”
