Isaac Lythgoe graduated from the Royal College of Art, London in 2014. Working predominantly in sculpture his practise operates as an exercise of narrative nonfiction, a facts told as story approach. He takes on the role of both investigator and narrator, a sort of film noir detective. Research focussed in conflated power structures, current affairs, science fiction and theory, identifies information and events with the potential for future, cultural relevance. These ideas translate into complex, allegorical works, often augmenting contrasting ideas, references and materials.
