“This year marks 100 years since the the birth of Italo Calvino and with my mural artwork I wanted to pay a tribute to his infinite genius, fantasy and nevertheless to one of my favorite writer.
Italo Calvino is one of the most translated writer in the Italian history, and I’m sure you’ll be able to read about his incredible adventures in your language.
I chose to represent one of his children tales on my mural painting: Cola Pesce, a short narration about a child and his transition into a fish.
The mural underlines the dreamy and fantasy aspect of the tales as well as allowing “the reader” to recognize the path of freedom of those that will never be completely understood.”
