Eloise: The mural is about reciprocity and caring relationships. Through the simple gesture of these hands, there is a caring, reciprocal embrace between two people. These kinds of mutual caring connections are the basic nodes of the web of a community. The mural integrates into the space, repeating the colors of the surrounding greenery and the yellow building. The mural also integrates conceptually, celebrating the sense of togetherness, care, and support already present in this community space.”
