“Italy, Pompei – scale and details – for me this is a special mural – I really wanted to paint something that truly felt like the local culture and what better than alfresco dining in the hot evening air – a family gathered around a table, all generations coming together to share stories and enjoy food and drink – it was such a beautiful scene I wanted to capture this moment on this huge wall ! I love the fluid nature to this. Painted all freehand, all by eye, no grids or projections”
