“The mural’s district is known to be a neighbourhood where women hold the most impactful power. They provide care, love, and support to the children and men, enabling them to create a healthy and happy life. The story of this neighbourhood taught me that power doesn’t come with money, success, or career goals. Real strength is the ability to make others grow.
Power doesn’t come from the one who plucked the flower and kept it to himself. Power comes from watering a flower while it spreads, duplicates, and takes over a wide field.
This is what marks the Gallaratese district in Milan.”
