“Imagine walking in one of the neighborhoods of your city and suddenly bursting into a place that takes you to the space in one second. Something that makes you feel like a famous comic book Superhero character and makes you want to fly with a Basketball Ball in your hand. You look up in the sky and see Basketball balls falling like colorful comets, and that’s where the adventure starts. I wanted to awaken these feelings when I started painting the Basketball court in Varketili, because during the game it is very important to involve the environment.
I think the drawing gives you real vibes when you convey your personal feelings, so I tried to revive the emotions of my childhood and give the energy that comes from playing Basketball.
