This is the most recent mural we created for METROPOLINK festival at the neighborhood Handschuhsheim in Heidelberg, Germany. We did it on the Niebel wall, a company that celebrates its 100th anniversary. At the beginning, the Niebel founder sold beautiful fabrics on a bicycle back in 1923. It is a pleasure to have created this mural inspired by the old fabrics, textures, and prints. Despite the inclement weather, the very rainy days that we had in Heidelberg, we were able to complete this piece represented with the anamorphosis technique. We chose this type of representation because we believe that beauty has multiple forms and distortions. Anamorphosis allows us to reflect on the relativity of beauty, of truth, and the ephemeral nature of our certainties. By interacting with this mural, we experience the transformation of reality as we change our position or perspective. This process shows us that truth is not static, that reality is not a fixed and objective concept, but is subject to our interpretation and subjective understanding.
