““Ceremony” – collaborative mural with Barbara Siebenlist Palomar for Street Art Cancun festival in Villas Otoch Paraíso. Depiction of my little friend Journey as a young Mayan warrior who is witnessing a ceremony and connecting to her animal guides, feminine power and ancestors via different elements of Mayan ritual. Symbolic elements include the copalera, jaguar, eagle and owl wings as well as the conch, moon and rabbit connected to the Goddess Ixchel to all of the people in the hood who supported us with food, coffee, amor and material resources throughout the process.”
