“This mural in New Taipei City is a celebration of HIPHOP 50 years and writing FLEKS for 25 years. The robots four arms stand for the four elements of hiphop; graffiti, MC ing, Dj ing and Breakdance. The icons can be found in the city’s adds and signs.
Getting ready to wrap the year up I wish everybody happy holidays, everywhere in the world. I wish the current wars and conflicts in the world would take an example from the hiphop culture. It doesn’t matter whether you’re rich, poor, black, white, thin, fat, ugly or good looking, if you want to battle you take it to the dance floor, the turning tables, the mic or the wall. Even religions come together in Hiphop.
The movement is founded by young people and has been expanding ever since, I’m grateful to be a part of this culture and even though I listen to all kinds of music, Hiphop has and always will have a special place in my heart. Peace on earth and stop the bombing, everywhere, start graffiti bombing instead.”
