“Meanwhile in Kathmandu, Nepal… we were given the opportunity to paint a wall at a wonderful place called Kiran Namaste. It provides a safe place, a home for single mothers and their children to help them get their lives back on track. The women are working hard and the children go to school. They didn’t have an easy start in life, but seem really happy together. It feels as if they are one big family.
After the mural was finished the children sang and danced for us and some of them told us a little bit about their life before Kiran Namaste. Iet and Just, a couple from the Netherlands, did a wonderful job starting this home.”
