“When I was a kid
I used to wander around the house in the afternoons
Waiting for my dad to come home
To play ping pong or John Madden football on the Sega Genesis with me
Or to give me shiny little ball bearings he brought home from work
Or to hang out with him in the garage
Or take a ride with him to the store
All of these things meant the same to me,
For the purpose of spending any amount of time with him, where I knew I was loved and accepted and allowed to exist, unconditionally, as I was.
All the objects on the table are my dad’s, his keys, his wallet, his work gloves.
Thanks so much to our friend Nick and his daughter Solea for modeling what a father looks like to me.”

“This mural, meant to capture the moment a father returns from a day at work, was painted for the wonderful group over at FRACC (Fall River Arts & Culture Coalition) and the city of Fall River. BKfoxx was commissioned to create an original image for this project and I was able to help her bring it to the wall. BK and I really leaned on the help and support of the local artists of FRACC, who really went above and beyond to be there and provide any and all help we could have asked for.”
