“Commissioned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of U’s shopping mall Hoog Catharijne.
Accompanied by threatening clouds in the sky and heavy wind predictions this was definitely a time sensitive job. So a big big thanks to my friend Joren Joshua for joining up there and helping me pull this off just in time.
This wall is up on the corner of the Mulderstraat and the lively Nachtegaalstraat. Go ahead and have a look while this mural is still up! Unfortunately, the wall will be removed due to some misunderstandings regarding the legal permission for this project. I have to admit that this is a huge disappointment for me. I’ve been looking forward to doing another big mural for a while now and I couldn’t be happier than doing this one in my hometown!
Nevertheless, I look back on this experience with great pleasure and am grateful for all the wonderful interactions I’ve experienced with enthusiastic locals. Thanks for the love & support!”
