“Mural created for the rooftop garden of Industrie Fluviali, an old factory in Rome that has been converted into a dynamic cultural space. It is a space of collaboration and community, an ecosystem of different things happening – diverse events, co-working, art, café, rooftop garden with plants from across the world. The mural draws on this sense of hybridity, and is inspired by the many pine trees that line the streets of Rome, linking the surrounding plant life and the people.
It makes me think about the ways in which we are like trees, or could be more like trees.”
