“Last month Drapl and I stayed on Glenhope station in Cobar for a week. Marie and Budgie Johnson pictured in the second image have lived at Glenhope for many decades as wool growers. These legends asked if we could paint an old rusty water tank which lies within Glenhopes free camp. Glenhope was initially founded 150 years ago by a German watch maker. This work aims to pay tribute to Marie and Budgie and all the Stations caretakers over the last 150 years.”
