“This typical Ukrainian ceramics, with the colors of the country, ended up shattered. But now, together, people are putting the pieces back in place, gluing everything, rebuilding the vase. I call this my new work ‘Potter’, and I made it thinking of the hardships of the Ukrainian people, who have been suffering the pains of war and, at the same time, with great determination and resilience, are seeking to rebuild the country devastated by the attacks. This is one side of this building in São Paulo, Brazil. The other side received a work by my Ukrainian Sasha Korban. In common, we are both pacifists and want to make art an instrument for promoting peace. I am against any war.”
