The snail – defined by Serge Latouche as a model of happy degrowth – has the wisdom to stop growing, once it reaches the maximum size of its shell in proportion to its dimensions. Snails are an example of slowness and on how one can keep up with the times without haste, but above all without respite. Accompanied by a slow fox, they become the ideal companions for an adventure in Volpiano. Together, they are a metaphor of life and its seasons.
La chiocciola, definita da Serge Latouche come un modello di decrescita felice, ha la saggezza di smettere di crescere una volta raggiunta la taglia massima della conchiglia in rapporto alle proprie dimensioni. Le chiocciole sono un esempio di lentezza e di come si possa essere al passo con i tempi senza fretta ma soprattutto senza tregua. Accompagnata da una volpe lenta, diventano le compagne ideali per un’avventura a Volpiano. Insieme sono una metafora della vita e delle sue stagioni.”
