“This 3D immersive 42 meter-high mural, created in the heart of the EU Quarter in Brussels, aims at raising awareness on the impact of EU consumption on forests and nature around the world. It is a tribute to the hopes of hundreds of thousands of citizens who demanded an ambitious EU deforestation law, through the #Together4Forests campaign. This law is currently being discussed in the European Parliament and among national governments.
Let’s keep deforestation off our plates!
Creating this landmark mural in this busy street by the scenic Leopold Park was an incredible stunt, made possible thanks to the precious help of Etterbeek City, Be.Brussels, École EOS and the wall owner Dominique Janne. Thanking them all again for their support.”
