“The mainstream media has once again chosen to slide into the art they know how to serve. The art of violent metalanguage that transforms even death, mourning, individual or collective trauma into a dramatized spectacle. An art whose aim is not to inform but to completely alienate the public
“We are all to blame” – a sad repetition of “we ate it together” – appears today as the most convenient doctrine that absolves everyone of their responsibilities. In essence, this is a very slippery and acrobatic admission. It turns everyone, in just two words, into shareholders of a privileged bubble, a concerted nightmare, and makes them obsessively complicit in the failure of the “staff” invention to “turn the country around”.”
