“There is an old Tahitian legend that explains the borders of Paea. The prince of Papara and the son of the prince of Paea fought for the control of the territory in a duel of javelins. Paea remained free and his prince married the princess of Papara.
We wanted to pay tribute to the place where we have been invited and represent part of its mythology, even if it’s something different than what we are used to do.”
