“Celebrating the second Kaiserschild Walls of Vision facade!
The artists Linda Steiner and PERK_UP took a fresh approach on the painting „Bauernschenke“ by David Teniers „the Younger“ (1610-1690) which is part of the art collection of Kaiserschild-Stiftung.
The original piece is exhibited in the „Alten Galerie“ in Graz Universalmuseum Joanneum.
In the new interpretation, Linda Steiner has the group of people in the foreground in Tenier’s work stylistically brought into the present and designed them more diverse, with the basic theme of the social gatherings maintained.
PERK_UP infuses playful weight into elements like jugs and pots. The upper part invites a delightful “window into the past.””
