“This bookcase is filled with the favorite books of the kids from Laak, Den Haag.
We had a few good meetings in the public library with 3 local schools. (De Kameleon, de Ontmoeting and de Baanbreker)
We got to introduce these kids with this book case project and had some good conversations about the importance of reading.
Besides bringing some bright colors to the hood, it also connect people and this creates a bigger sense of community.
I feel blessed that I can see and get so many smiles just by doing something that I love to do⦔
