“I remember how with the last bit of strength, silently and meditatively I finished the final touches and lines. Everyday from the end of August military equipment had been gathering behind the wall along the avenue and no one believed that this would last even for a week.
I don’t know how to describe the feeling when you paint the wall with a roller during the revolution, hear hundreds of bicycle bells, sounds of sirens, noise of a diesel engine, requests to take pizza to the chain of solidarity, and catching the columns pouring into each other during the weekends trying not to miss the holiday.
If you ask me about my summer – in short: work, art, revolution. This mural is for you, Free Belarusians!”
